Coming into the new year, there was no doubt that the Cal linebacking corps was going to be a big focus throughout the campaign. With the Bears now past the midway point of the regular season, the best way to describe the unit is to probably say that they are indeed a work in progress. There have been good moments and there have been bad moments this season, but both players and coaches believe the linebacking crew is slowly getting better. BearTerritory caught up with position coach Kenwick Thompson to get his take on his unit's progression.
